Datta Bansode

Datta Bansode was born in 1969 in Latur.

In 1991 Datta received his Diploma of Art from College of Art, Pune. In 1994 he received Diploma in Art Education from Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai.

In 1997 Datta exhibited solo at Nehru Centre, Mumbai. In 2000 and 2007 he had solo exhibitions at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. In 2001 he exhibited solo at Gallery Studio, Mumbai. In 2002 he had a joint exhibition with S. H. Raza at Gallery Studio, Mumbai. In 1993 and 1999 he participated in group shows at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. In 1994 he exhibited at Nehru Centre, Mumbai.

In 1999, 2001, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 he participated in group shows in various places in Mumbai. In 1998 he participated in group shows, London and his work are installed at the International Airport in Mumbai. In 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2007 he participated in ‘Harmony Show’ at Nehru Centre, Mumbai. In 2002 he participated in Kala Mela, Mumbai. In 2005 he took part in a group show at National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai. In 2006 he participated in a group show ‘Colors of Life’ for Cancer Patients and Association, Nagpur. In 2014 he participated in ‘Meher – Art with a Heart’ at Gallery 7, Kalaghoda in Mumbai. In 2015 he participated in ‘Painting Dreams, Coloring Lives’ and ‘Meher II – Art with a Heart’ at Gallery 7, Kalaghoda in Mumbai. In 2015 he took part in ‘Art for a Cause II’ at Gallery 7, Kalaghoda in Mumbai.

In 2017 Datta passed away in Latur.
