The exhibition is in support of Mentor Me India, a non-profit organisation, which enables children who are under-privileged to reach their full potential. This is achieved by providing each child with a strong role model in the form of a mentor. The Mentor Me India programme has shown great success in increasing these children’s confidence, social interaction skills and academic performance, particularly in English, enabling them to aspire for more. The Mentor Me India programme is currently supporting approximately 200 mentor-mentee pairs across Mumbai, including children that are orphaned and/or live on the streets. One hundred and fifty works by India's leading modern and contemporary artists are on exhibit. A portion of the profits from Painting Dreams, Colouring Lives will go towards supporting Mentor Me India.
